Christian Rose Launches Partnership with Disability Opportunity Fund

CHARLOTTE, N.C.: Ahead of his final ARCA Menards Series start of the season this weekend at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway, Christian Rose announced today he has formed a partnership with the Disability Opportunity Fund (DOF) for Friday morning’s Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100.

In addition to Phoenix, Disability Opportunity Fund will also partner with Rose for his entire 2023 Motorsports schedule which is set to include the ARCA Menards Series season-opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in February.

The DOF will also become the first official charity of Christian Rose Racing.

As a nationally certified Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, DOF’s mission is to provide financial products, technical assistance, equity investment and financial advisory services that improve the quality of life and build personal wealth for people with disabilities and their families and support organizations serving the population.

The Disability Opportunity Fund has partnered with the Martinsburg, West Virginia native with the attentiveness of educating the public and race fans from around the country on the fundamentals of the DOF and how it is focused on making a difference for those who battle conditions of impairment.

In its first 15 years, DOF has supported 100 plus projects in 35 states. These activities have benefitted over 50,000 people with disabilities and their families.  In celebration of its 15th Anniversary, DOF is launching a fundraising goal of $1,500,000 by the end of 2023.

“My association with the Disability Opportunity Fund is incredibly important to me,” said Rose, driver of the No. 42 West Virginia Department of Tourism | #AlmostHeaven Toyota Camry for Cook Racing Technologies.

“The foundation that the DOF has established along with their contributions to society along with their long-term goals and ambitions is something that I deeply wanted to be a part of. I’m excited to represent DOF and all of their associates and look forward to educating the racing community beginning this weekend at Phoenix and throughout the 2023 season.”

Entering its first foray into Motorsports, the DOF believes they have chosen the perfect spokesperson.

“As we begin to celebrate our 15th anniversary, Disability Opportunity Fund is honored that ARCA Menards Series driver Christian Rose has chosen DOF as his official charity,” said DOF president and CEO Charlie Hammerman.

“Christian self-identifies with a disability (dyslexia) and his father lives with the effects of polio.  We could not ask for a better spokesperson for our innovative and groundbreaking organization.  We look forward to this partnership and wish the team the best of luck this weekend at Phoenix Raceway.”
