Christian Rose is a 23 year old graduate from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where he graduated, cum laude, in May of 2018, with a BS concentrating in Hospitality Management. Christian was a pitcher for the UMES Baseball Team and was recognized with Academic Honors in 2017 and 2018.   He is a native of West Virginia where he grew up on his family's farm.

From the time that he was 4 years old, Christian has been a NASCAR fan, and he loved Dale Earnhardt, Sr. When he came home from Kindergarten, after he watched his favorite driver wreck on television the Sunday before, he asked what happened to his driver. His Mom told him that he was going to be watching over the other drivers from Heaven, so Christian focused on the young guy, Jeff Gordon. He went to his first NASCAR race in Daytona at the age of 10, and has traveled to as many tracks as possible since that time to learn more about the sport he has come to love.

At one of those races, he asked a crew member of B.J. Mcleod Motorsports how he could get into racing, and that crew member introduced Christian to B.J. Mcleod, who offered to mentor Christian through the process and explained how to get started.  Although Christian wanted to sign up on the spot, his Mom insisted that he get his college degree first. So, Christian graduated in May of 2018, spent the Summer working two jobs in Ocean City, Maryland (Marriott and Seacrets Night Club), re-kindled the conversation with B.J. Mcleod in August 2018, found a sponsor with SCI (a medical supply company in Rockville, Maryland) in August, raced his first test race at Hickory Motor Speedway in September, raced his second test race at New Smyrna Motor Speedway in December of 2018,  moved to Mooresville, NC, in January, raced his first late model race January 5, 2019 (15th out of 24) at the New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna, Florida and finished Speed Week on that same track in February 2019.

What is it?

Late Model Racing is NASCAR’s Short Track Racing Series. It is the qualifying racing series for all NASCAR drivers.

What are the benefits?

A sponsorship puts your company’s name and logo on the car for every race that you sponsor.  It will be seen by thousands of fans in each of the Super Late Model races, will add to your company’s marketing exposure, and will help to build your “brand.” Sponsorship allows you to spend the same advertising dollars you would have, otherwise, spent; but it will also attract a wide base of fans who live and die with the racing experience each year.  NASCAR fans are loyal, enthusiastic, have a competitive nature, and will brave all kinds of weather to support their favorite drivers. If you love NASCAR and enjoy the experience, we can get you into the pit.  Sponsorship is always a great tax deduction for marketing costs, while providing you with excitement and networking opportunities.

Why Christian?

I am with ATF & Gunslinger Racing, and already have a "ride." Sponsors can have national television exposure for each race they partially or fully sponsor – car/suit logo, my personal recognition of your sponsorship in personal appearances at your business for pictures/autographs, social media shout-outs, or any other way that you believe I can help with your marketing strategy. In my first race at New Smyrna Speedway, 1/5/19, I finished 15th out of 24. I also finished Speed Week in February 2019. I am a newcomer – beating the odds, because I love to race. We are doing this the old fashioned way, and I am excited for the sponsors who will walk this journey with me!
